 State to be made prosperous and cultured by nurturing young entrepreneurs

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan appreciated initiatives done by Indira Gandhi National Tribal University in the agriculture sector and said that State Government is ready to work with the university to avail the benefit of the initiative to the people. He described the university's role as important and assured full cooperation. CM Chouhan also expressed a resolution to make the state cultured and prosperous by nurturing young entrepreneurs.

 CM Chouhan underlined a need for entrepreneurship in the felicitation ceremony. He informed the students about Venture Capital Fund. He said that through this scheme they can set up their own industry.

Referring to Namami Devi Narmade Seva Yatra and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi visit, he said that the purpose of this yatra expressed India's commitment to saving the earth. The temperature of earth will rise by two degrees by 2050 and it would cause hardship for life on the earth. He said that constant flood and drought has made many species of plants and lives extinct. Such campaigns would encourage protection of river and civilisation.

 Vice-chancellor Prof Kattimani mentioned the limitless possibilities of agriculture, horticulture, floriculture and aromatic oils production in Amarkantak region and said the university is making efforts in this regard. The benefit of research being carried out will be given to some farmers on an experimental basis. It can be implemented across the state further. He demanded the construction of airstrip near Anooppur and Shahdol. CM Chouhan has asked district administration to earmark the land for this.

 Prof Kattimani assured to extend utmost cooperation from the university in textile industries and skill development. Prof Kattimani presented three books penned by him to Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Prof TV Kattimani welcomed CM Chouhan and Smt Kattimani welcomed Smt Sadhna Singh Chouhan on the occasion.
