Madhya Pradesh Bhavan will become Centre of Government’s Activities in Mumbai

Chief Minister inspected construction work of Madhya Pradesh Bhavan ‘Madhyalok’ being constructed in Vashi-Navi Mumbai. He said that Madhyalok will be used by guests of Madhya Pradesh government and for various activities.

Construction work of the Madhya Pradesh’s guest house at Vashi of Navi Mumbai is almost near completion. The guest house will provide lodging arrangements to guests, public representatives, officers and patients visiting Mumbai for medical treatment from Madhya Pradesh. The construction of Madhyalok was started in September 2013, it has a total 3879 sq. meter area and has 30 rooms.

CM  said that all the offices of Madhya Pradesh government located in Mumbai like Madhya Pradesh Information Centre, M.P. Tourism Development Corporation, M.P. Handicrafts Development Corporation’s Emporium will be housed in Madhyalok after the completion of the building. Information related to Madhya Pradesh will be available at one place. Moreover, this will facilitate better coordination among all the offices of M.P. and benefit of this will be derived by the state government as well as common men. He further mentioned that Madhyalok will prove useful and beneficial for Madhya Pradesh.

CM speaking on the completion of 3 years of government of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, said that several important records have been set in these three years and people are experiencing new energy. Referring to Narmada Seva Yatra, CM mentioned that he is amazed to see the self spirited cooperation and participation of people in Narmada Parikrama and he believe that concept of 12 issues raised by the Narmada Mission will be achieved. About 6 crore saplings will be planted with peoples’ cooperation and participation on both the banks of Narmada river on July 2, 2017. Shri Chouhan also expected to experience themselves by participating in this plantation programme.

CM  also saw a directory related to Madhyalok and gave suggestions after inspecting the complete building. Principal Secretary to CM Shri S.K. Mishra, Residential Commissioner of Madhya Pradesh Bhavan Delhi and Mumbai Shri Ashish Shrivastava and Senior Officers of M.P. State Government –Mumbai were present on the occasion.
