Shivraj Singh Chouhan reviews work in Mukundpur white tiger safari

Chief Minister issued instructions that all works of Mukundpur White Tiger Safari should be completed in the time frame and on a priority basis. A necessary fund will be provided for this by the state government. Chief Minister Chouhan held a review meeting in this regard at the Mantralay on May 30. Forest Minister Dr. Gaurishankar Shejwar and Mining, Commerce and Industries Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla and Chief Secretary Shri B.P. Singh were present at the meeting.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Rs 10 crore should be provided immediately for the safari. Besides, funds will be provided from CAMPA. Work for constructing enclosure should be done first. It was informed in the meeting that six enclosures have been constructed. Work is on for 11 more enclosures. Works incurring a cost of Rs 30 crore will be carried out in this financial year. Following the construction of enclosures for wildlife, veterinary hospital and interpretation centres will be established.

Additional Chief Secretary Finance Shri A.P. Shrivastava, Principal Secretaries to the Chief Minister Shri Ashok Varnwal and Shri S.K. Mishra and Forests Department's officers were present in the meeting.
