No Stone Will Be Left Unturned for Sailana’s Development

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan dedicated construction works underway at cost of Rs. 25 crore 45 lakh and laid the foundation of construction works worth Rs. 90 lakh at Sailana on June 5. Addressing the programme CM Chouhan assured farmers that no stone will be left unturned for the development of Sailana and their problems will be solved through choupals, sabhas and deliberations. CM Chouhan also announced an amount of Rs. 5 crore for the development of Sailana.

CM Chouhan said that peoples’ development and welfare of the state is the aim of the government. He told local public representatives for a survey of feasibility where ponds could be constructed. After a technical survey, an amount will be allotted after sanctioning the proposal. CM Chouhan also mentioned that water for irrigation will be provided to the farmers as per the need. The state has been conferred with National Krishi Karman Award by the Union Government for last four years. Owing to the sensitivity of government towards farmers, the total irrigation area in the state has gone up to 40 lakh hectare.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan dedicated water treatment plant costing Rs. 5 crore 64 lakh on June 5 to provide pure potable water to the residents of Sailana. On the occasion of World Environment Day, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted a peepal sapling in water treatment plant campus at Sailana. He said that environment conservation is a must to save the earth. He appealed to the people to participate in the plantation drive.
