Concrete Arrangements will be made to Procure Agriculture Produces on MSP

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that concrete arrangements will be made to procure agriculture produces on support price in the state. Moong, arhar, urad are being procured on support price. Soybean too will be procured on support price. Efforts will be made to provide rates for vegetables, fruits, potatoes and garlic etc. more than the input cost. CM Chouhan was holding direct dialogues with farmers in Krishak Samvad Karyakram organised at Jawra on June 15. CM Chouhan received applications related to the issues of the farmers and assured them for proper disposal of their problems.

Addressing farmers, CM Chouan mentioned that they were facing problems due to cheque payment system in mandis earlier. As far as possible cash payment will be made to the farmers in mandis or will be deposited in their bank accounts through R.T.G.S. to enable farmers to get the payment of their produces within 24 hours. CM Chouhan further stated that complete attention will be paid to the problems of farmers and traders both. The loss incurred by the traders will be compensated by the government. Moreover, CM Chouhan assured the farmers that he will keep on redressing the grievances of the farmers with full intensity. On being informed about the problem faced by the local farmers due to Neelgai, CM Chouhan said that a solution to this problem will be made.

Local MLA Dr. Rajendra Pandey informed in detail about schemes being conducted for the welfare of farmers in the state. Minister of State for Technical Education (Independent Charge), School Education and Labour Shri Deepak Joshi, MP Shri Sudhir Gupta, Chairman M.P. Farmers Commission Shri Ishwarlal Patidar, President Jila Panchayat Shri Parmesh Maida, Public Representatives and farmers in large number were present on the occasion.
