Chief Minister Performs Maa Narmada’s Aarti at Amarkantak

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan along with wife Smt. Sadhna Singh performed Sandhya Aarti of Maa Narmada, the life line of Madhya Pradesh at the origin point Amarkantak today. He prayed to Maa Narmada for citizens’ happiness and for enrichment of greenery in the state.

CM Chouhan said that he took resolution towards plantation at large scale for incessant flow of Maa Narmada during the Narmada Seva Yatra. Saplings are being planted on July 2 to fulfill this resolution. Chief Minister Chouhan will begin plantation himself in the morning of July 2 from Amarkantak. Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Entrepreneur and District in-charge Shri Sanjay Pathak and MLA Shri Ramlal Routel were present during the Aarti.

Trees are Our Friends

CM Chouhan urged public representative at Amarkantak to ensure their presence along with a large public participation in the plantation programme. He further mentioned that trees protect human life and play an important role to fulfill their needs. CM Chouhan has called upon all the sections of the society for cooperation in making Dharti Maa green.
