‘Mil-Banche’ Madhya Pradesh will take form of public campaign

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the participation of the society will be ensured to create inclination of children towards reading books. For this ‘Mil-Banche’ programme will be given the form of public campaign. The Chief Minister was reviewing the ‘Mil-Banche’ programme today. He also took stock of the preparations of cycle distribution to students and instructed officials to take prompt action.

Chief Minister Chouhan instructed the officials to connect maximum people with the ‘Mil-Banche’ programme. He said that assistance from the society should be taken to increase quality of education. For this special meetings of the School Management Committee will be held on August 26 in state. Taking stock of the preparations of cycle distribution, CM Chouhan instructed to start the process of distribution to the students soon.

It was told at the meeting that any person can gift essential items to the school under Pranam Pathshala Karyakram. ‘Mil-Banche’ programme will be organized in two phases- one with School Chalen Hum programme and the other in the midst of the second academic session. Any person can take part in this programme for which one has to get registered as a volunteer. It was told during the meeting that more than 7 lakh cycles would be distributed to students this year. The tender process for its purchase will begin soon.

On the occasion School Education Minister Shri Vijay Shah, Minister of State for Education Shri Deepak Joshi, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Ashok Vernawal, Secretary Education Smt. Deepti Gaud Mukherji, Secretary to Chief Minister Shri Hariranjan Rao and other officials were present.
