State Administrative Service is medium to serve people

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that state administrative service is a strong medium to serve people. He said that it has become necessary to be vigilant and sensitive towards basic needs of people and deliver public services dexterously. CM Chouhan was addressing trainee officers of state administrative service at the Mantralaya on July 10. CM Chouhan also shared tips on success and working in the administrative sector with trainee officers.

Chief Minister Chouhan told the trainee officers that they should always be available to people and serve them without any expectation. He said that service is rendered only when it comes from within. One cannot be forced to serve. He further said that in democracy, the public is as important as the public representative. He said that developing coordination and cooperation between different arms of administration is an indication of a good administrator to execute work effectively. He said that the foundation of ethical values should be strong.

Advising the trainee officers for being aware and alert to time management, Chief Minister Chouhan said that establishment of good governance can be achieved in no time if every moment is spent in the welfare of the public. He called upon the officers to make the state progressive with commitment, dedication and hard work. Use your positive energy and talent.

Director General Academy of Administration Smt Kanchan Jain, Secretary to Chief Minister Shri Vivek Agrawal and other senior administrative officers were present on the occasion.
