Shivraj Singh Chouhan gets devotional at Bhagwan Shree Mahakaleshwar Sawari

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan became Shivmay during Bhagwan Shree Mahakaleshwar Sawari on the third Monday of Shrawan Maas at Shivnagri Ujjayini on July 24. The Chief Minister’s mother and father, besides his wife Smt. Sadhna Singh also offered prayers.

CM Chouhan thereafter took off the Palki of Mahkaal for a city tour. Bhagwan Mahakaleshwar was enthroned in the form of Chandramoleshwar in the palki on the thirdMonday of Shrawan Maas.

Bhagwan Shree Mahakaal gave darshan to their devotees in Shivtandav form riding garun. A team of Police Armed Force was also present at the main gate of the temple. Devotees in large number standing on both sides of the road offered flowers at Bhagwaan Mahakaal. Pooja-archana was performed with all rituals by Pt. Ghanshyam Pujari in the sabha mandap.

Shree Mahakaleshwar Sawari reached Ramghat from Mahakaal temple passing through Gudri Chouraha, Bakshi Bazaar and Kaharwadi. CM Shri Chouhan and his wife accompanied the sawari on foot from Mahakaal temple to Ramghat.

MLAs Dr Mohan Yadav, Shri Anil Phirojiya, Vice President of Jan Abhiyan Parishad Shri Pradeep Pandey, Shri Iqbalsingh Gandhi, Shri Shyam Bansal, Shri Ashok Prajapat, Public Representatives and senior Administrative Officers participated in sawari with CM Chouhan. Several Bhajan mandlis praising Lord Mahakaal accompanied the sawari.
