State Government Committed to Provide Fair Price of Crops and Labour to Farmers

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the state government is a farmers' government, it respects farmers wholeheartedly and always ready to solve their problems. Therefore concrete decisions are being taken constantly in the interest of the farmers and their better implementations are being ensured.

CM Chouhan said this while holding discussions with farmers came to CM House led by MLA Shri Anil Phirojia today. The farmers had come to felicitate Chief Minister for better arrangements made towards purchase of onion on support price. The farmers greeted CM Chouhan with shawl-turban and presented a wooden replica of plow.

Moreover, CM Chouhan mentioned that the state government is making continuous efforts that farmers should get full remuneration for their hard work, to get fair price of their crops, to reduce increasing pressure on agriculture and also to solve the problems of defaulter farmers .

Chief Minister Chouhan stated that state government is committed for fair price to the farmers for their crops and labour. He mentioned that it has been ensured that farmers should get fixed support price for their crops on time. In case of low prices in mandis, the balance payment would be borne by the government. Furthermore, CM Chouhan informed the farmers that state government will provide guarantee for bank loan from Rs. 10 lakh to 2 crore to assist their adult children for establishment of any other business. Also arrangement will be made to give 5 percent interest subsidy for 5 years by the state government on it.
