Works Departments to be goal-oriented

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has instructed the Works Departments to determine ambitious goals for quality of work, construction period etc. and work accordingly. CM Chouhan was reviewing the construction works during Pragati Online at the Mantralaya on July 26. Chief Secretary Shri B.P Singh was also present during the online review. The Chief Minister also released ‘Samajh Jharokha’ – a Tribal Welfare Department publication on the occasion.

Chief Minister Chouhan sought information related to the completion, quality and current status of construction works during the video conferencing. He reviewed the construction of Kanya Shiksha Parisars under Tribal Welfare Department. CM Chouhan was informed that 65 parisar were to be constructed in 28 districts of the state. Construction has commenced in total 52 places. On being informed about the unavailability of suitable land, the Chief Minister held a direct dialogue with the concerned district collectors and project implementation unit. He instructed the officials to select appropriate land within a week and complete the work.

CM Chouhan learnt about Rural Group Water Supply Scheme Majholi in Sidhi district, Rural Group Water Supply Scheme Manpur of Umaria district, Kanya Shiksha Parisar, Betul-Khandara-Amla-Bordehi-Banskhapa-Nagdev Mandir Road, Khamarpani-Savarni-Lodhikheda-Raymond Chowk Road, Niwari-Sendri Road, conversion of Benazir Palace into Heritage Hotel, feeder separation in east region, Sewer project under Amrit Yojana of Rewa and updated status of Jabalpur State Cancer Institute projects. The Chief Minister issued instructions to complete the work within the time limit.
