Proforma for Proposed Act of Fee Regulation is Almost Ready

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that a proforma of proposed Fee Regulation Act is almost ready. Efforts have been made to make practical and balanced system so that parents should not be exploited by the educational institutions and to ensure that good education system should not be obstructed.

CM Chouhan was addressing the ‘Sushiksha’ programme organized by the E-TV here today. CM Chouhan honoured 5 personalities who have undertaken best works in the field of education in the programme. He also announced for rewarding Ku. Muskan Ahirwar with an amount of Rs. 2 lakh and Shri Ishwari Prasad Tiwari, Shri Sanjay Rathore, Shri Chandan Pal and a physically challenged person Shri Virendra Sir each with Rs. One lakh. Moreover CM Chouhan issued directives for arrangement of a room for library being run by 9 years old girl Ku. Muskan at Durganagar basti of Bhopal. Minister for Revenue Shri Umashankar Gupta and Minister for Higher Education Shri Jaibhan Singh Pawayya were present on the occasion.

CM Chouhan urged the learned and competent social activists of the society to come forward for cooperation in efforts being undertaken to make best arrangements in schools and to enrich lives of poor children. He called upon for cooperation to make better basic arrangements by shouldering responsibilities of schools and to cooperate for expanding qualitative education visiting schools as per their convenience. CM Chouhan said that they should visit schools under the campaign ‘Mil Banche Madhya Pradesh’ being organized in the state on August 26. He further appealed that they should not let children lost their lives as rag pickers and beggars. Arrangements have been made by the state government for housing, meals clothes, education and other arrangements for these children. District Collectors have been made in-charge of this scheme. Citizens should render help to make their future better, he added.

CM Chouhan informed that amendments have been made in Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojana to provide benefit to meritorious students who have taken drop. He also expressed views to eliminate unemployment, need for skill development, global skill park, to encourage entrepreneurship among youths, Student organizations’ election and fee regulation and other issues on the occasion.

Educational institutions were honoured for remarkable contribution in the field of education in the programme.
