Youth Power should take Resolution to Build New Madhya Pradesh

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan urged youths to come forward to build New Madhya Pradesh for building New India. He further mentioned that under the Youth for New Madhya Pradesh concept, yuva clubs will be formed in all the districts. He called upon the youths for taking resolution to make poverty free Madhya Pradesh. CM Chouhan was addressing the youths on the occasion of 75th anniversary of Quit India Movement at Shaurya Smarak campus here today.

CM Chouhan said that youth will be sent to interact with soldiers posted at the borders and now Andaman and Nicobar will be included under the Maa Tujhe Pranam Yojana being started for inspiring youths toward patriotism to enable them to understand the sufferings of revolutionists.

Moreover, CM Chouhan urged the youths to take resolution for making Madhya Pradesh free of terrorism, casteism, sectarianism and poverty. He stated that the youths of Madhya Pradesh will contribute wholeheartedly to fulfill the dream cherished by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to make country free from terrorism, sectarianism, poverty, corruption and casteism.

Interacting with the youths, Chief Minister Chouhan informed them in detail that how the freedom struggle begun and how the revolutionary and non-violence movements took place simultaneously. He said that freedom is not gained easily. Thousand of revolutionists sacrificed their lives for the freedom. He further mentioned that revolution against British begun in 1857. Revolutionists took a march from Meerut to Delhi. He stated that 1857 revolution could not succeed owing to treason of our own people but struggle continued. A team of Lal, Bal and Pal gave new soul to the revolution. Non – Cooperation movement was undertaken by Gandhi Ji. There was movement of revolutionists on hand on the other it was nonviolence movement. He further informed the youths that how the revolutionists suffered the torture. How Subhashchandra Bose and Bhagt Singh like revolutionists acted for the freedom of India. Gandhi Ji gave a slogan of Do or Die and that’s how Quit India Movement moved forward. Furthermore CM Chouhan said that Quit India Movement became the movement of every patriotic citizen. CM Chouhan told the youth about how revolutionaries faced the torture of Britishers and how Chandrashekhar, Subhashchandra Bose and Bhagat Singh like revolutionaries worked for the freedom of the country. He said that Gandhi Ji gave the slogan 'Do or Die' and Quit India Movement got progress. He said that Quit India Movement had become a movement for every patriotic citizen. Many freedom fighters sacrificed in Madhya Pradesh as well. Eleven patriotic persons got martyred in Betul and ten in Indore, Freedom fighters were sacrificed for the freedom in Jabalpur.

 CM Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh is a state of youths. State government introduced many innovative schemes for youths. He said that the Government will bear the cost of education of talented students. There will be no dearth of fund for education. Referring schemes like Mukhyamantri Swarojgar, Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana, Mukhyamantri Yuva Contractor Yojana, he called upon youths that they should come forward and take benefit of the schemes. They should not be job-seeker but be provider of job. He said that he wants youths to be full of hopes and self confidence. The Chief Minister exhorted youths to think in right direction for the state and do good work. He administered resolution to create new Madhya Pradesh and said that all youths should celebrate the Independence Day on August 15.

Minister of state for cooperatives Shri Vishwas Sarang said that India got freedom due to sacrifice of Freedom fighters. Revolutionaries gave up everything and got India independence. He called upon youths to take resolution to make the freedom everlasting. He proposed thanks of the chief minister for incorporating youths with Quit India Movement.

 Before this, CM Chouhan felicitated freedom fighters Shri Manik Chand Chaubey, Smt Sharma, Shri Jamir Khan, Shri Mukhtar Khan, Shri Laxmikant Mishra by presenting shwal and shriphal.

 Chief Minister Chouhan announced to give cash of Rs one lakh each to different schools and colleges for presentations on Quit India Movement. Shri Chouhan recalled the martyrs at War Memorial and paid tributes in the beginning. The Chief Minister offered flowers before portrait of Mahatma Gandhi and lit the torch as a symbol of the freedom.

 Principal Secretary, culture, Shri Manoj Shrivastava proposed thanks. MLA Shri Surendra Nath Singh, Bhopal mayor Shri Alok Sharma, Smt Sadhna Singh and youths from Bhopal and students of schools and colleges were present on the occasion.
