Friends of M.P. Convention to be held at Indore on January 3-4

Friends of M.P. Convention will be held at Indore on January 03 and 04. Indore city will host the convention. Incubation center will be made in Indore by the Smart City Company with the cooperation of Tandon School of Engineering of New York University. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave instructions about this during the review meeting held here today after his visit to the America. Chief Secretary Shri B.P. Singh also present in the meeting.

CM Chouhan said that the Non-Resident Indians belong to the state are willing to cooperate in the development of Madhya Pradesh under the Friends of M.P. Convention. This convention will serve the purpose of a platform for all the Non-Resident Indians who have attachment with the state. This convention will be organized by the Indore city and Divisional Commissioner Indore will coordinate the convention. The Non-Resident Indians of the state who have achieved special distinction will be honoured in this convention. CM Chouhan further mentioned that about 400 doctors linked to Madhya Pradesh wish to cooperate for conducting operation of serious diseases. The Health Department must establish contact with them. Moreover, CM Chouhan gave directives that MoU should be inked with Tandon School of Engineering to start an incubation center in the state. The Health Department must prepare a proposal for getting reasonable and advance treatment facility from the main American company Varian Medical System which specialises in cancer treatment.

Moreover, CM Chouhan stated that land should be provided to the Datapack Services for starting its services in Indore. Action should be initiated on the proposal for collecting agriculture produces by linking bio-energy with the agriculture produces mandis. Moreover, the proposal for development of tool regarding problems related to farming by new technique of atomic launch through mobile phone without network should be started as a pilot project. This will be started by the company from its CSR Fund. Cambridge Education should be contacted for the proposal to start a world standard skill center in the country. Reviewing the MoU signed between the doctors of Columbia University for bone marrow transplant for the treatment of Thalassemia in Indore Medical College, he instructed for immediate action in this matter.

It was informed in the meeting that the cooperation of Tandon School Engineering will be taken in 10 incubation center already functioning in the state. Tender will be called on PPP model for treatment of cancer by Varian Medical System. Action will be initiated by the Police Department to use app developed by Exfact for tracking habitual criminals. Moreover, action will be taken by the Tourism Department regarding tour of delegation of New York hotel Association to Madhya Pradesh. The center being made for bone marrow transplant at Indore will be ready by January 15. Twelve hospitals have been identified in the state by the Health Department for operations to be performed by the medical specialists.

Additional Chief Secretary Finance Shri A.P. Shrivastava, Principal Secretary Commerce and Industries Shri Mohammad Suleman, Principal Secretary Health Smt. Gouri Singh, Principal Secretary Commercial Taxes Shri Manoj Shrivastava, Principal Secretary to CM Shri S.K. Mishra, Secretary to CM Shri Vivek Agrawal and Officers of the concerned department were present in the meeting
