CM Chouhan Inaugurates State Illness Assistance Portal

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated State Illness Assistance Portal today. Minister for Health Shri Rustam Singh and Chief Secretary Shri B.P. Singh were present on the occasion. This portal will facilitate monitoring of State Illness Assistance Fund beside online approval.

Information on approval of State Illness Assistance Fund cases and information as regard to the beginning of treatment will be provided to patients through SMS now. Patients are required to present himself/herself only once before the medical board. They can take treatment in private hospitals recognized by the government and medical colleges of their own choice. The medical board will now be able to send patients directly to the recognized private hospitals and medical colleges from the districts except divisional district headquarters.

CM Chouhan also released brochure of Mukhya Mantri Swasthaya Seva Camps on the occasion. Mukhya Mantri Health Camps will be organized in all the 51 districts of the state between January 5 and February 11. Eligible beneficiaries of State Illness Assistance Fund and children will be benefitted under the Mukhya Mantri Bal Hridaya Upchaar Yojana and Mukhya Mantri Bal Shravan Upchaar Yojana under these camps.

Principal Secretary Health Smt. Gauri Singh, Commissioner Health Smt. Pallavi Jain Govil and Officers were present on the occasion.
