Three-day grand Shaiv Mahotsav in Ujjain from January 5, 2018

A three-day Shaiv Mahotsav will be organized from January 5 to 7 in Ujjain, city of Mahakal. There will be a symbolic samagam of all 12 Jyotirlingas during the festival. Seers related to Shaiv Darshan and tradition will take part in the festival in a large number. The fest will begin with a grand Shobha Yatra on January 5. Replica of all 12 Jyotirlingas will be the main attraction during the shobha yatra.

Reviewing preparations of Shaiv Mahotsav at his residence here today CM Chouhan said that there should be no shortcoming of any kind in making the event a grand spiritual confluence. All seers will be respectfully invited. Besides devotees, he directed to connect students also to this Mahotsav.

Through the Shaiv Mahotsav 2018, the importance of Hindu religion, culture and Darshan will be circulated in the present context after deep brainstorming. Vedacharyas will have discussion of spiritual topics during various sessions.

Main attractions during the three-day Shaiv Mahotsav will include Shobha Yatra, Shaiv Kala Sangam and exhibition, Ved Alankaran and release of postal stamp. Preparations are being made by the Shaiv Mahotsav Central Organizing Committee, Ujjain. CM Chouhan will be the Patron of the Committee while Shri Makhan Singh Chouhan will be the President and Shri Dinesh Chandra will be the vice-president.
