CM Chouhan Met PM Shri Modi

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan met Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at his residence at New Delhi today. During the half an hour meeting with Shri Modi, he discussed in detail about the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana being implemented in the state for the farmers and Ekatm Yatra. He extended invitation to the Prime Minister for the concluding programme of Akatm Yatra to be held at Omkareshwar on January 22, 2018.

CM Chouhan informed that the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana is being implemented at present on Kharif crops only. He said that it is necessary to implement this scheme on Rabi Crops now to facilitate the farmers for getting fair prices for their other agriculture produces.

Moreover, CM Chouhan apprised that the Ekatm Yatra is based on the celebration of basic unity of all the living beings. This yatra taking place from December 19 will continue till January 22, 2018. A grand campaign for generating public awareness in the entire Madhya Pradesh and to collect metal for the statue of Adigurushankaracharya is being carried out.

The Prime Minister Shri Modi entrusted CM Chouhan with an important responsibility to conduct a campaign for wide use of solar based stoves in place of gas cylinders. CM Chouhan has been told to form a task force for rectification by contemplating on the problems and the solutions connected to it.

Moreover, CM Chouhan informed the Prime Minister Shri Modi in detail about the Narmada Seva Mission and Pradhan- Mantri Awas yojana being implemented in the state. He also apprised about Start Up, Stand Up and conventions being organised in the state at block and district level for the beneficiaries of Mudra Yojana. CM Chouhan invited the Prime Minister in the beneficiaries’ convention of Mudra Yojana.

CM Chouhan told the Prime Minister at length about the Swachchata Abhiyan, Pradhan-Mantri Awas Yojana, LED Bulb Yojana and about other important ongoing schemes of union government in the state.
