Land pattas will be given to each poor person in state: CM

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that every poor person born in the state will be made owner of a piece of land. Land pattas will be given to all the poor. He said that if required, land will be purchased and given to the poor families. For this, the state government has made a law. Shri Chouhan was addressing the Tendu patta collectors and unorganized labourers conference at Pohri tehsil headquarters in Shivpuri district today.He announced to make Pohri a nagar panchayat and to approve Pohri Naljal scheme. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan told that Sarkula Medium Irrigation Scheme has been approved and the technical inspection of Varkeshwar project will be conducted.

Rs 3 crore 4 lakh 33 thousand bonus distributed to tendu patta collectors

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan distributed bonus of Rs.3 crores 4 lakh 33 thousand through e-payment to the tendu patta collectors of Shivpuri and Sheopur district at the conference. Shri Chouhan provided water bottles and charan padukas to 21 thousand 317 tendu patta collectors. Shri Chouhan symbolically made the women tendu patta collectors wear charan padukas. He distributed the benefits of various schemes to the beneficiaries.

Benefits to be given to unorganized labourers at Janpad level

CM Shri Chouhan said that the state government will not let lack of funds be a hindrance in the development works and in the welfare of the poor. Giving information about the various schemes in detail, he said that programmes will be organized on the coming June 13 at the Janpad panchayats in the state to distribute benefits of various schemes to the registered unorganized labourers. He gave information about the Mukhya Mantri Jan-Kalyan Yojana in detail.

On the occasion, Union Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and Mines Minister Shri Narendra Singh Tomar said that the work of development in Madhya Pradesh in the last 15 years has been fast. He said that the Central Government stands with the Government of Madhya Pradesh for the welfare and development of poor, farmers and working class.
