Rs 1000 per month to be given to Baigas for nutritious meals-CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan

After performing Bhoomi-pujan and dedicating development works worth Rs 48 crore 56 lakh in Majhouli tehsil headquarters of Sidhi district, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the Baiga tribals of Sidhi and Singrauli district will be provided with an assistance of Rs 1000 per month for a nutritious meal. CM Chouhan said that shoes and slippers were distributed to the beneficiaries under the Charan Paduka Yojana only after proper scrutiny. The Chief Minister announced the making of Madvas a tehsil and increase the capacity of Majhouli from 30-50 beds.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the state government has taken concrete measures for the development of the state, besides bringing prosperity in the lives of the people of the state. Sharing information on Sambal Yojana, Outstanding Electricity Bill Waiver Scheme, Saubhagya Yojana and Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare Schemes to the people, he urged them to come forward to rightfully avail the benefits of the schemes. Chief Minister Chouhan told that 50 per cent posts in teachers’ recruitments this month are reserved for women. Apart from this, 33 per cent seats will be reserved for women in all other departments except the Forest Department. He said that Janjatiya Adhikar Sabha will be constituted in gram panchayats so that disputes can be settled at village level itself. CM Chouhan reiterated his commitment to the progress of the state on the occasion.
