Give top priority to the implementation of Sambal Yojana: CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that no stone should be left unturned in the implementation of Sambal Yojana. It should be given the highest priority. Distribution of the remaining smart cards should be ensured by launching a campaign in the coming 15 days. CM Chouhan directed the officers while reviewing the Sambal Yojana through video conference on September 04. Chief Secretary Shri BP Singh was also present on the occasion.

Congratulating the Collectors for the successful implementation of the scheme, Chief Minister Chouhan asked to take special initiatives to make Sambal workers effective. Their significant assistance can be taken to receive the feedback related to the implementation and to take the benefits of the scheme to one and all. Treat them with a comfortable and positive attitude. An assistance of the development block coordinators of the Jan Abhiyan Parishad should also be taken in the implementation process. The applications of the scheme will continue to be uploaded on the portal on time. CM Chouhan laid emphasis on the need to felicitate students attaining medical education under Sambal Yojana. This will provide inspiration and encouragement to others and boost their confidence.

Instructions to maintain peace

Chief Minister Chouhan has instructed to control the situation of peace and order with caution, awareness and rational intelligence. He told to ensure no untoward incident takes place. The officials should maintain a direct dialogue with the society. Better contact and communication should be maintained with social workers, people's representatives etc. so that social harmony and equanimity prevail.

The Chief Minister was informed that a new dashboard of Sambal Yojana has been prepared by the Labour Department in which data of individual and village level has been prepared. It contains the details of individuals availing the benefits of different schemes. The Labour Department will provide Funeral Assistance to 8 thousand 812 families and compassionate assistance to 8 thousand 512 families by the end of the month of August. In the medical facilities, maternity assistance has been provided to 52 thousand 911 and 66 thousand 576 institutional deliveries have taken place. Under the Saral Bijli Bill Waiver Scheme, 34 lakh 71 thousand bills have been waived and 26 lakh 38 thousand certificates have been distributed. Fees of about 23 thousand 653 students taking admission in higher education course have been borne under the Sambal Yojana.
