Hindi language is a source of linking India: CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the Hindi language is one of the most important sources to unite India. A tradition to promote Hindi and Hindi literature’s enrichment will be continued in Madhya Pradesh. CM Chouhan was addressing the inaugural function of a 3-day Madhya Pradesh Sahityotsav in Bhopal on September 14. He announced the giving of Rs 7 crores for the construction of Sahitya Sabha’s building in Gwalior in accordance to the feelings of Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Seven Hindi Sevis have been honoured with Hindi Bhasha Samman in the programme.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan mentioned that all days should belong to Hindi. Several great personalities like Mahatma Gandhi and Subhash Chandra Bose have considered Hindi as the language of linking India. Every country in the world speaks its own language. One can express views in its own language in a better manner, not in another language. A Hindi University after the name of Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee has been started in the state. Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee delivered a speech in the United Nations Organisation in the Hindi language. Hindi should be the language of education. Take a resolution that we will bring Hindi in practice and enrich it. Literature and culture will prosper when our language enrich. Literature is an important aspect of humanity. The series to publish literature of old litterateurs will be continued.

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan released a comprehensive book of the renowned poet Late Shri Gurubhakt Singh ‘Bhakt’. The book has been published by the Madhya Pradesh Sahitya Parishad. Under the Hindi Bhasha Samman, Information Technology Award has been conferred to Dr Anurag Seetha, Dr Ramprasad Bhatt, Prof. Jiang Jingkui, Dr Shiv Chandra Dubey and Dr Chhabil Kumar Meher were honoured with Nirmal Verma award, Father Kamil Bulke award, Gunakar Mule award and Hindi Seva award respectively for the year 2017-18.
