Continuous decline in Corona positive patients

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that this is a good sign that the number of Corona positive patients in the state is decreasing. In addition, the number of people being discharged from hospitals has also increased. Patients are recovering while the mortality rate has also reduced. We are constantly moving ahead, while controlling Corona with public assistance. Now 4000 tests are being conducted daily in Madhya Pradesh, which is more than the national average. Testing work has gained momentum due to availability of adequate number of testing kits. Public support has helped in controlling the virus in such high-risk zones, where more positive cases have been found.

Economic activities will be conducted in limited areas

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that economic activities will be conducted in limited areas in accordance with the statement of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi “Jaan bhi hai, jahan bhi hai”. Availability of adequate employment opportunities will be ensured continuosly.

Farmers will not be exploited

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the work of record procurement of 23 lakh metric tonnes of wheat has been completed in the state. Farmers have minimum support price as cover. Till about a month ago, farmers were worried about the procurement of their produce. Work of wheat procurement is going on smoothly in the state. Social distancing is also being maintained. The lockdown caused a problem of availability of gunny bags, but it has been overcome with Centre’s cooperation. Proper arrangements have also been made for the purchase of gram, lentils and mustard. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the state government’s priority is to ensure maximum facilities to farmers and protecting them from any kind of exploitation. With this purpose, farmers will be benefited by setting limits on the basis of production per hectare. Action is being taken to increase the limit which was reduced by the previous government.
