Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has called for cencerted efforts to make Madhya Pradesh a model in the country by defeating Corona. Madhya Pradesh is registering a constant fall in active Corona cases. However, there is need to maintain full caution and alertness for total control on this pandemic. 

Shri Chouhan was reviewing the situation arising out of the Corona spread and the arrangements made to tackle it here at Mantrayalya today. Health Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, Chief Scretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Shri Vivek Johari, Additional Chief Secretary, Health Shri Mohammad Suleman and Principal Secretary Shri Sanjay Shukla attended the meeting.

No Crowding Anytime

The Chief Minister directed to maintain full alertness in all the districts to ensure that people do not gather anywhere and there is no crowding of anytime in day or night.

Workers should be Brought Back with Full Sensitivity

Shri Chouhan directed that the task of bringing back the workers of Madhya Pradesh from other states should be done with full sensitivity. They should have no problem or inconvenience. Trains have been arranged to bring the workers to Madhya Pradesh; however buses could also be used to bring workers who are not at faraway places.

No Unnecessary Restrictions

The Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains directed that no unnecessary restrictions should be imposed in the Green Zone and Orange Zone areas. Economy has also to be put back on the track, he added.

Now 1792 Active Cases

The ACS Health informed that now Madhya Pradesh has 1792 active Corona cases. So far, 118 Corona patients have been cured and they have returned to their respective homes. As many as 90 new cases of Corona infection have been registered.

14-days Quarantine after treatment

ACS Health said that it is necessary that the Corona patients returning their homes after being cured should be kept in quarantine for14 days. If it is not done, there is risk of relapse. If there is no arrangements for quarantine at homes, then institutionalized arrangement should be made, he added.

Three Wards in Green Zone Today

During the review of situation in Bhopal district the Collector informed that the situation is constantly improving in Bhopal. A total of 354 Corona patients have returned to their homes after getting well. Today 3 wards have turned into Green Zone. Gradually entire city would turn into Green Zone, he added.

Good Results of MW medicine

Director, AIIMS, Bhopal informed that the administration of Micro bacterium W medicine has yielded good results. Very soon Favipiravir medicine, being used in Japan will be used here. The Chief Minister directed for best possible treatment of the patients.

57.50 Lakh MT Wheat Procured

The meeting was informed that so far 57.50 lakh MT wheat has been procured from 9.55 lakh farmers on minimum support price. Of this, 47 lakh MT wheat has been transported. So far, 6 lakh farmers have been paid Rs. 5500 crore against the procurement
