NEED TO FREE MIND OF CORONA SCARE

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has stressed on the need to free mind of the Corona scare. Corona is just like a common cough and cold and with timely treatment is cured easily. There is no need to fear. We have to defeat this pandemic with self-confidence. He said that the constant efforts would definitely eliminate it.

Shri Chouhan reviewed the Corona situation through videoconferencing at Mantralay today. Health Minister Dr. Narottam Mishara, CS Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Shri Vivek Johari, ACS Health Shri Mohammad Suleman and other concerning officers attended the meeting.

The Chief Minister asked to assess the efficacy and extent of success of the Fever Clinic concept related to Corona test and treatment. ACS Health informed that any person may visit a Fever Clinic to undergo Corona test and if tests positive may get hospitalized and treated there.

Health Check-up of Migrant Workers Compulsory

The Chief Minister directed for compulsory health check-up of the migrant workers retuning to different districts from outside the state. ACS Shri Suleman said that along with thermal screening, oxygen level should also be tested under the health check-up. It can be done by touching a small equipment on a finger.

Curbing Spread of Infection

The Chief Minister especially reviewed the Corona situation in Bhind, Dhar, Khargone and Satna districts. He directed that strict measures should be taken in the infected areas to check its further spread. Best of treatment should be provided to the infected persons so that they can return to their homes after recovery.

Fast Improvement in Ujjain

Health Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra informed that the situation is fast improving in Ujjain. The number of fresh cases is reducing and infected persons are returning homes after recovery. The same is the case with other districts, he added.

2.70 Lakh Workers Returned

ACS Shri ICP Keshari informed that so far 2.70 lakh migrant workers stranded in other states have returned to the state. A demand for 84 trains has been sent to the Ministry of Railways. Today one train departed from Dadar Nagar Haveli for Madhya Pradesh. Another train carrying about 1300 workers was to arrive from Faridabad in Madhya Pradesh but 700 of the workers voluntarily stayed on there following resumption of suspended works resumed there. Therefore, the train was cancelled and 600 workers are coming by buses.

Trains for Students

The meeting was informed that trains have been pressed into service where the number of students moving from one district to another is higher to take them to their respective destinations. One train has departed from Indore for Rewa and another train will leave Bhopal for Singrauli via Rewa
