Corona not over yet, protect yourself by maintaining 2 yards distance

The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan called upon the people of state to take utmost care for protection from Coronavirus, it has not over yet, the markets and other activities have been started to meet the needs. Many kinds of relaxations have been given in the Unlock-1 to boost the economy and livelihood of the people, but after the relaxations many cases have been reported, where safety measures are not being followed.

Shri Chouhan has appealed the common people to take adequate precautions like maintaining 2 yards distance, use of face masks, frequent washing of hands, not to spit in public places and to greet people with Namaste instead of shaking hands. He further mentioned that the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi also says that ‘Jaan Hai to Jahan Hai’. There is a need to be extra cautious and vigilant at present, he added.

The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan in his message to the citizens of the state said that after taking oath of the office of the Chief Minister on March 23, he immediately took all necessary steps and started efforts to protect the people from Corona. Arrangement of testing labs, adequate masks, PPET, oxygen cylinders, hydroxy chloroquine tablets was ensured at the earliest. Covid hospitals were established in every district. Today, 21 testing labs are functioning in the state and a capacity of daily six thousand tests has already been developed. Only one third of ICUs and beds are used. The state's recovery rate from Corona is among the top states of the country and is even higher than the country's average recovery rate. Shri Chouhan further said that the availability of all essential commodities has been ensured so that the common man does not face any problem. All arrangements related to the repatriation of the migrant labourers have been made. Similarly, arrangements have been made for ration, food and accommodation etc. for poor labourers and needy people. The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has appealed the general public to pay attention towards protection from Corona and do not be negligent. Take all precautions and move ahead courageously by rendering cooperation in making Madhya Pradesh a Corona free state
