Continuous decline in number of active Corona patients in the state

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that there is a rapid increase in the recovery rate of Corona in the state, which has now increased to 82.5 percent. This has led to a continuous decline in the number of active Corona patients. There is a fall in 2000 active Corona patients in the last four days. At the same time, there is a sharp decline in death rate. The death rate of the last 15 days in the state is one percent, while the average death rate is 1.08 percent. There is constant improvement in the situation of Corona in all districts of the state. Adequate number of beds are available in all Covid hospitals of the state and oxygen and other medical supplies are also available in sufficient quantity.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing the situation and arrangements of Corona in the state through video conferencing. Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Shri Vivek Johri, Commissioner Public Relations Shri Sudam Khade etc. were present in the meeting.

20473 active patients, 2545 recover in a day

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that at present there are 20 thousand 473 active Corona patients in the state. There has been a decrease of 524 active patients in the state in comparison to the previous day. As many as 2041 new Corona patients have been detected, while 2545 patients have recovered.

Sixty percent of patients in home isolation

People are becoming more inclined towards home isolation, out of the total number of Corona patients in the state, 60 percent are in home isolation. “Home isolation” patients are being constantly monitored in each district through “Command and Control Centers”. In some districts, private doctors and clinics have also come forward to monitor patients in home isolation.

Continuous communication with Crisis Management Groups must

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed that all the District Collectors should maintain constant communication with “Crisis Management Group” members and make every effort to control Corona infection with full cooperation of the public.

New guidelines must be prepared for Durga Utsav

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed the Home Department to prepare and release new guidelines for Durga Utsav. Clear instructions related to size of the pandals, height of Durga idols, nature of ceremonies etc. must be issued under the guidelines. Arrangements should be made to ensure that Corona infection does not spread under any condition.

“Isolation” for one week must even after being tested negative

The Chief Minister said that in many cases, Corona patients have been again tested positive despite being tested negative. Therefore, special care should be taken that Corona patients must remain in “home isolation” for a week even after being tested negative. The Chief Minister also directed the Health Department to issue a “Post Covid Care” guideline.

Improvement in Corona condition of all districts

In a district wise review it was found that the condition of Corona is improving in all the districts of the state. Growth rate of Corona has come down significantly in almost all districts. The growth rate of Corona in Indore is 2.04, Bhopal 1.51, Jabalpur 2.10, Gwalior 1.16 percent and Sagar 2.10 percent. The Corona growth rate of Ujjain district is 1.05 percent and that of Khargone is 1.38 percent
