Will not leave any stone unturned in development of Vindhya in next three years

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that whatever remains in the development of the Vidhya region will be completed in the next three years. In the last 15 years, gifts like Bansagar Dam, Solar Power Plant, Good roads, Mukundpur White Tiger Safari besides many other gifts have been given for the development of Vindhya region. With the Super Specialty hospital, not only Rewa, but the whole Vindhya region has received the gift of the most advanced treatment facilities. Along with open heart surgery, treatment of several serious illnesses is being provided in this hospital. The hospital has been constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana, started by the Late Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan dedicated the Super Specialty Hospital, built at a cost of Rs. 150 crore in Rewa today. CM Shri Chouhan dedicated and laid foundation of construction works costing Rs. 399 crore in the programme. He also distributed benefits of Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Kisan Credit Card, Swanidhi Yojana for street vendors and benefitted the people by forest right deeds under the Forest Rights Act. The Chief Minister presented trophies and honoured three girls of Rewa district with Samman Nidhi, who secured ranks in the merit list of the state board examination, by making them brand ambassadors of Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao Abhiyan. CM Shri Chouhan started the programme with Kanya Pujan. He also inspected the newly built hospital and sought information about the treatment facilities.

District Hospital Rewa to become 200 bed hospital

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan announced to upgrade the Kushabhau Thakre District Hospital, Rewa into a 200 bed hospital. He said that the construction of residential colony for the doctors of the super specialty hospital will also be started soon.

Rewa is developing rapidly

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Rewa is developing rapidly. After the completion of Bansagar Dam, irrigation facility is being provided in 3 lakh acres of the area and soon it will be expanded further to 2 lakh acre area. The farmers of Vindhya region are now eager to leave behind the farmers of Punjab, he added.

Obeisance to Martyrdom of Shaheed Shri Dhirendra

Paying obeisance in the programme to the Martyrdom of brave CRPF Jawan Dhirendra Tripathi of Padiya village of Satna district, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has said that the brave son of Vindhya has not only brought name and fame to Vindhya but to the whole state. Shri Tripathi attained Martyrdom while fighting with terrorists in Kashmir two days ago.

CM Shri Chouhan is true public servant

Union Minister for Health Dr. Harsh Vardhan said via video conferencing from Delhi that the Chief Minister of the state Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan is serving the people of the state as a true public servant. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is starting an awareness programme against Corona soon. The role of the people of Madhya Pradesh will be important in this programme. Union Minister of State for Health Shri Ashwani Kumar Choubey also participated in the programme through video conferencing.

Excellent medical facility for newborns

Minister for Medical Education of the state, Shri Vishwas Sarang has said that after AIIMS, Rewa Super Specialty Hospital will have excellent medical facilities for the treatment of newborns, which is a big achievement. Member of Parliament Shri Janardan Mishra said that Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has an important contribution in the development of Rewa district. He further stated that the Union Minister for Health Dr. Harsh Vardhan has given full help in the construction of the Super Specialty Hospital. He expected that the hospital will get further financial help from the Centre.

Super Specialty Hospital is as important as Bansagar

Former Minister and MLA from Rewa Shri Rajendra Shukla said that Super Specialty Hospital is a gift for Vindhya region. Earlier, people had to go to Delhi, Nagpur and Mumbai for treatment, now they will get treatment in Super Specialty Hospital. Poor will also be able to get free treatment in this hospital, availing benefit under the Ayushman Yojana. He said that today is as important for Rewa as the day of inauguration of Bansagar Dam. The farmers of Rewa district have prospered by getting water from the canals of Bansagar. Rewa is also recognized for White Tiger Safari and Mega Solar Plant, the plant from where electricity is being supplied to Delhi Metro train. Construction of a well-equipped residential complex, costing Rs. 75 crore for the accommodation of doctors is proposed behind the hospital. A vote of thanks was proposed by the Commissioner Shri Rajesh Kumar Jain.

CM Shri Chouhan honours Corona Warriors

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan honoured 4 Corona warriors, who have done commendable work in prevention of corona and treatment, by presenting letters of appreciation to Dr. Ambaresh, the in-charge of Sanjay Gandhi Hospital Corona Testing Lab, Sanitation Worker Shri Sudhir Kumar, Lab Technician Shri Patiraj Singh and Nurse Sushri Rajni.

Minister for Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Shri Ramkhelavan Patel, State Chairman of Backward Classes Welfare Commission Shri Bhagat Singh Kushwaha, MLA Shri Nagendra Singh, Shri Divyaraj Singh, Shri Shyamlal Diwedi, Shri Girish Gautam, Shri Panchulal Prajapati, Shri K.P. Tripathi and other were present at the programme
